MacBook Pro TIP - Keyboard F1, F2, etc aka “FN LOCK”

When I first bought my new MacBook Pro I could press the volume buttons that appear inside the F10, F11, F12 etc and it would do just that, control my volume.
However, shortly after that I all of a sudden now had to press FN button and hold it to use the volume.
This was irritating because I knew it was set this way before.
I found a setting if you go to “System Preferences>Mouse / Keyboard>Keyboard> Uncheck the box that says “Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.”
Figured this might help someone out there that is a Mac n00b like me!
